Build a Website in a Full Featured Content Management System

This is a 16 hour seminar, and is a little more comprehensive than our usual 12 hour seminar that we present on this same topic. This seminar allows additional time for students to practice the skills they learn, under guidance from the instructor, as well as more time for individual instruction.

Teaches a student how to build and maintain a flexible website, in which content can be added or changed using an administrative backend. Many options for organizing information and automating repetitive tasks. Very powerful Content Management System, allows for all kinds of functionality and expansion. Suitable for membership sites, community sites, collaborative ventures, and can support the necessary functions for educational sites, forums, blogs, business communities, polls, shopping carts, and many more interactive and dynamic features. 

Class takes you through the entire process of building your website, from install, to long term maintenance and marketing. Also covers graphic design and image prep, writing for the web, page layout, site organization and navigation standards, making a website earn, search engine optimization, stats and tracking, and more. Focuses on the most important aspects of each skill that is taught, and teaches the student how to continue to learn more, and how to determine cost breakpoints for their website. 

Full set of over a dozen manuals included, as well as a CD full of helpful software and templates.

Cost: $500 per student (20% discount for returning students, 10% discount for veterans, single parents, seniors)

Classes have limited space at this time. Small classes allow individual training time, and more personalized instruction.

Available training slots are open on a first-come, first-served basis. You may request to be placed on a reserve list if you choose. No fee is required for being on the reserve list, but if a cancellation occurs, you will have only 24 hours to pay the fee before the next person is given the option for the slot.

Fees due 3 weeks prior to seminar date. 30% of the fee is non-refundable. Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the seminar date will forfeit the entire seminar fee.  We apologize for the strict booking requirements, but they are necessary due to the limited space available in our classes.
